We want Birdie Buddy to be a fun, safe, and inclusive space where golfers can be themselves while connecting with others who share their passion for the game. These Community Guidelines are designed to set expectations for everyone's behavior within the Birdie Buddy community, both on and off the app. Not following these guidelines may have consequences, ranging from a friendly reminder to more serious actions.
Respect Boundaries: Recognize that comfort levels vary from person to person. Avoid sharing explicit content, sexual desires, or seeking romantic encounters on your public profile. In private conversations, ensure that everyone is comfortable with the content being discussed. Consent matters.
Share Cautiously: Avoid publicly sharing personal information such as phone numbers, emails, or social handles. Refrain from requesting others to share sensitive details. Be cautious when it comes to financial transactions with other members.
No Violent Content: Promote positivity and avoid sharing or endorsing violent content, including gore, death, images or descriptions of violent acts, use of weapons, and anything advocating or glorifying self-harm. In cases of imminent harm, we may take steps to assist and provide crisis resources.
Personal Connections Over Business: Birdie Buddy is not a platform for advertising, promotion, or any form of solicitation. It is not intended for sex work, escort services, or compensated relationships.
Authenticity Matters: Be yourself. Creating fake accounts or pretending to be someone else is not allowed, even if it's for entertainment purposes.
Communicate Respectfully: Approach conversations with respect, and refrain from harassment, threats, bullying, intimidation, doxing, sextortion, blackmail, or any behavior intended to cause harm.
No Place for Hate: We do not tolerate racism, bigotry, hatred, or violence based on personal attributes such as race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, disability, physicality, gender, gender identity, age, national origin, or sexual orientation.
Lead with Kindness: Acts or behavior that suggest, intend, or cause harm to another member will be taken seriously. If you experience harm, take care of yourself and, if needed, report the incident to us.
Adults Only: You must be 18 years of age or older to use Birdie Buddy. Ensure that your profile does not include photos of unaccompanied or unclothed minors, including pictures of your younger self.
Abide by the Law: No illegal content or activities are allowed. This includes using Birdie Buddy for buying or selling drugs, counterfeit goods, or any illegal activities.
One Account Per Person: Each account should have only one owner. Multiple people accessing the same account is not supported for logistical and privacy reasons.
Post Your Own Content: Respect others' privacy and do not post images or private messages from other people without their consent. Do not share copyrighted or trademarked material.
Be Honest: Do not abuse Birdie Buddy by spreading false information, spamming harmful links, creating mass accounts, or manipulating others for personal gain.
Stay Active: To keep the community vibrant, log into your Birdie Buddy account regularly. Inactive accounts may be deleted after two years.
As a member of the Birdie Buddy community, we encourage you to report any harmful behavior or violations of our Community Guidelines. Your reports are confidential and contribute to maintaining a safe environment for all.
We take our Community Guidelines seriously and will take appropriate action in response to violations. We may issue warnings, but for severe or repeated violations, we reserve the right to investigate and/or terminate accounts without refunds.
By using Birdie Buddy, you agree to abide by these Community Guidelines and our Terms of Use. We reserve the right to take action if your behavior is deemed inappropriate, unlawful, or in violation of our community standards, even if the actions occur off the Birdie Buddy platform but involve other members you met through the service.
